Families in Vian, Oklahoma Select Master’s Ranch for Their Teens Who Need a New Start in Life
Master’s Ranch is a second home for boys who need proper direction to turn their lives around. The therapeutic program makes much of the value of work, demonstrated through animal husbandry, daily chores in the dorms and kitchen, and an outstanding vocational program. Boys live in a structured environment, learning obedience and personal responsibility. We view education as a privilege, and we teach boys to look at it the same way.
We begin with physical exercise to bring boys up to a basic level of fitness. They develop strength, they feel good about themselves, and they gain a positive achievement as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their positive experiences build confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys understand the ramifications of their past choices. Their thinking straightens out and their inappropriate behavior is replaced with character and integrity. At Master’s Ranch, we give boys every opportunity to be successful.
Teens Live in a Home-Like Environment at Master’s Ranch
Boys at Master’s Ranch Christian Boarding School feel at home here. We operate like a family, loving these boys through their struggles and walking through the days alongside them, coaching and training them. We offer biblical counseling and ongoing mentoring and spiritual direction.
Residents have access to regular devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about God and discover a relationship with Jesus. Many of our boys think of the directors at Master’s Ranch, as their second parents and many come back to work on the ranch or to visit. We enjoy ourselves on the ranch, as well. Boys spend a lot of their weekends and free time outdoors, playing sports, and generally learning how to enjoy healthy fun again.
