Troubled Teen Boarding Schools for Boys in Wyoming May Not Have What Master’s Ranch in Missouri Has

Although this troubled teen boarding school is not located in Wyoming, Master’s Ranch in Missouri may be exactly what for your teenage boy if he’s getting in trouble and have gotten off track in life.

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe are a boarding school for troubled teenage boys, enrolling boys from Wyoming. Despite the fact that our campus is located in rural Missouri, not in Wyoming, we would love the opportunity to tell you about our affordable program.

If your teen has been getting into trouble, he could use someone to confide in who will listen to him and guide him without judgment. We provide therapy throughout the week, both individual and also in a group setting. Throughout each boy’s stay, we engage them constantly as someone they can talk to freely, making therapy non-threatening and ongoing in a more natural environment. We maintain a watchful eye, especially in the early days, but we do so while surrounding them with loving care and inspiring them toward a personal relationship with God. We operate like a family, caring for these boys no matter what and walking through the days beside them, coaching and teaching them.

Troubled Boys spend a great deal of their free time camping, playing sports, and generally learning how to have wholesome fun again.

Physical Training in our Troubled Teen Boarding School

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe start right away with physical exercise with the goal of bringing boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They develop strength, they have a reason to feel good about themselves, and they experience a positive achievement as they begin to meet fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their accomplishments develop confidence so that boys are built up.

Helping Boys learn New Boundaries

Master’s Ranch Christian Academy goes beyond traditional boarding schools in that it helps young men to mentally realize the ramifications of bad behaviors. Their thinking clears and their inappropriate behavior is replaced with character and integrity. At Master’s Ranch, we give boys every opportunity to be successful.

Academic Training for Boys from Wyoming

ranch for troubled boysWe have certified teachers on our personnel who provide instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accomplish both ends of the academic spectrum. The self-paced curriculum allows students who may be struggling with certain subjects to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are available for those who succeed academically and desire to get ahead.

Our boarding school operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the chance to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During the summers we run a partial academic regimen to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.

It allows them to try out their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dime they earn is put into an account that they take home with them when they go home. The ranch itself also offers some vocational opportunities for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys are trained marketable skills and a real sense of accomplishment from these endeavors.
