Troubled Teen Boarding Schools in Montana

Troubled Teen Boarding Schools for Boys in Montana May Not Have What Master’s Ranch in Missouri Has

Even though this troubled teen boarding school is not located in Montana, Master’s Ranch in Missouri might be exactly what that can help your boy if he’s getting in trouble and have gotten off track in life.

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyMaster’s Ranch is a boarding school for troubled teenage boys, for boys from Montana. While our campus is in rural Missouri, not in Montana, we would love the opportunity to tell you about our affordable program.

If your teen has gotten off track, he needs someone trustworthy who will hear him and speak truth to him without judgment. We provide therapy throughout the week, both one-on-one and also group counseling sessions. Throughout each boy’s stay, we engage them constantly as a friend they can talk to freely, making therapy non-threatening and ongoing in a more natural environment. We maintain a watchful eye, especially in the early days, but we do so while giving them loving care and encouraging them toward a personal relationship with God. We operate like a family, caring for these boys no matter what and going through the days beside them, coaching and instructing them.

Master’s Ranch was Founded to Provide Teens from Montana a New Path in Life

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyMaster’s Ranch is a new home for adolescent boys from places like Montana, who need proper direction to change the course of their lives. Parents bring their boys, age 12-17, to Master’s Ranch after seeing them begin to get in trouble and headed on a downward spiral that cannot be helped by counseling alone.

Boys from Montana come to our boarding school to live in a disciplined environment, learning respect for authority and personal responsibility through a renewed focus on faith, caring for themselves and their future, and through caring for the animals on our ranch. We treat education as a privilege, and we teach boys to think about it in the same way.

Troubled Boys spend a lot of their free time outdoors, playing sports, and generally learning how to have wholesome fun again.

Physical Training in our Troubled Teen Boarding School

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe start with physical exercise to bring boys up to a standard level of fitness. They develop muscle, they feel good about themselves, and they gain a positive achievement as they begin to see progress in their fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their accomplishments build confidence so that boys are built up.

Helping Boys learn New Boundaries

Master’s Ranch Christian Academy goes beyond traditional boarding schools in that it helps boys to mentally come to terms with the results of bad behaviors. Their thinking straightens out and their inappropriate behavior is replaced with character and integrity. Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.

Academic Training for Boys from Montana

ranch for troubled boysWe have qualified teachers on our personnel who offer instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we focus on both ends of the academic spectrum. The self-paced curriculum allows students who may be struggling with certain courses to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are scheduled for those who excel academically and wish to get ahead.

Our residential academic program operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the opportunity to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During the summers we run a half-day academic schedule to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.

It allows them to exercise their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dime they earn is put into a fund that they take home with them when they leave. The ranch itself also provides some vocational opportunities for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming.
