Families in Piedmont, Missouri Choose Master’s Ranch for Their Boys Who Need a New Direction in Life
Master’s Ranch is a new home for teenage boys who need proper direction to change the course of their lives. The therapeutic program makes much of the value of work, which is taught through agricultural work, daily chores in the dorms and kitchen, and a strong vocational program. Boys live in a structured environment, learning obedience and personal responsibility. We view education as a privilege, and we teach boys to look at it the same way.
We start with physical training to bring boys up to a basic level of fitness. They gain strength, they have a reason to feel good about about themselves, and they experience something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in academics, their achievements bolster confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys realize the consequences of their past choices. Their thinking clears and their inappropriate behavior turns into character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.
Teens Live in a Family-Like Environment at Master’s Ranch
Boys at Master’s Ranch Christian Boarding School feel at home here. We operate like a family, loving these boys through their struggles and walking through the days alongside them, coaching and leading them. We offer biblical counseling and person-to-person mentorship and spiritual guidance.
Teens take part in regular devotions and weekly church services, so they have the chance to ask questions about life and experience a relationship with Jesus. Many of our boys adopt the directors at Master’s Ranch, as their second family and a large number come back to help or to visit. We enjoy ourselves on the ranch, as well. Students spend a lot of time fishing, playing sports, and generally learning how to have wholesome fun again.
