Families in Pico Rivera, California Select Master’s Ranch for Their Teens Who Need a New Path in Life
Master’s Ranch is a new home for adolescent boys who need proper direction to turn their lives around. The therapeutic program makes much of the value of work, demonstrated through agricultural work, regular chores in the kitchen and dorms, and an outstanding vocational program. Boys live in a structured environment, learning obedience and personal responsibility. We view education as a privilege, and we teach boys to think about it the same way.
We begin with physical training to bring boys up to a standard level of fitness. They develop muscle, they have a reason to feel good about about themselves, and they experience something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their positive experiences build confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys comprehend the ramifications of their past actions. Their thinking straightens out and their destructive behavior is replaced with character and integrity.Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.
Our Residents Have a Family-Like Environment at Master’s Ranch
Teens at Master’s Ranch Christian Boarding School feel at home here. We operate like a family, caring for these boys unconditionally and walking through the days right with them, coaching and teaching them. We provide biblical counseling and person-to-person mentorship and spiritual guidance.
Students participate in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and discover a relationship with Jesus. Many of our boys adopt the directors at Master’s Ranch, as their second parents and a large percentage come back to help or to visit. We have a lot of fun on the ranch, too. Residents spend a great deal of time hunting, playing sports, and just learning how to have good clean fun again.
