Families in Perris, California Choose Master’s Ranch for Their Sons Who Need a New Direction in Life
Master’s Ranch is a second home for boys who need proper direction to turn their lives around. The therapeutic program emphasizes the value of work, taught through animal husbandry, regular chores in the dorms and kitchen, and an extensive vocational program. Boys live in a disciplined environment, learning respect for authority and personal responsibility. We value education as a privilege, and we teach boys to look at it the same way.
We begin with physical training with the goal of bringing boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They build strength, they feel good about themselves, and they gain something positive as they begin to see progress in their fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their positive experiences develop confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys comprehend the consequences of their past actions. Their thinking clears and their destructive behavior is replaced with character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.
Teens Live in a Family-Like Environment at Master’s Ranch
Young men at Master’s Ranch Christian Boarding School feel at home here. We are set up like a family, caring for these boys through their struggles and going through the days next to them, coaching and teaching them. We provide group and individual counseling and ongoing mentoring and spiritual guidance.
Students have access to regular devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and experience a relationship with Jesus. Many of our boys adopt the directors at Master’s Ranch, as their second parents and a large number come back to work on the ranch or to visit. We enjoy ourselves on the ranch, as well. Students spend a great deal of time outdoors, playing sports, and just learning how to enjoy good clean fun again.
