Families in Norfolk, Nebraska Come to Master’s Ranch for Their Sons Who Need a New Path in Life

Master’s Ranch is a home away from home for teenage boys who need proper direction to change the course of their lives. The boarding school with counseling emphasizes the value of work, which is taught through involvement with the ranch, regular chores in the kitchen and dorms, and an outstanding vocational program. Boys live in a disciplined environment, learning respect for authority and personal responsibility. We value education as a privilege, and we teach boys to view it the same way.

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe start with physical training to bring boys up to a standard level of fitness. They build strength, their self-esteem improves, and they gain something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their achievements develop confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys realize the ramifications of their past choices. Their thinking straightens out and their destructive behavior is replaced with character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.

Boys Enjoy a Family-Like Environment at Master’s Ranch

troubled teenage boys

Adolescents at Master’s Ranch Christian Boarding School feel at home here. We work like a family, loving these boys through their struggles and going through the days right with them, coaching and training them. We provide pastoral counseling and person-to-person mentorship and spiritual direction.

Residents take part in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about God and choose a relationship with Jesus. Many of our boys adopt the directors at Master’s Ranch, as their second family and a large percentage come back to work on the ranch or to spend time with us. We have a lot of fun on the ranch, too. Students spend a great deal of their free time camping, playing sports, and generally learning how to enjoy good clean fun again.
