Families in Cuba, Missouri Choose Master’s Ranch for Their Boys Who Need a New Direction in Life

Master’s Ranch is a home away from home for adolescent boys who need proper direction to change the course of their lives. The therapeutic program focuses on the value of work, which is taught through involvement with the ranch, regular chores in the kitchen and dorms, and an outstanding vocational program. Boys live in a disciplined environment, learning respect for authority and personal responsibility. We view education as a privilege, and we teach boys to look at it the same way.

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe start with physical exercise with the goal of bringing boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They build muscle, their self-respect improves, and they gain something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their positive experiences bolster confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys realize the consequences of their past behaviors. Their thinking straightens out and their inappropriate behavior disappears, replaced with character and integrity.Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.
