Families in Concordia, Kansas Choose Master’s Ranch for Their Teens Who Need a New Direction in Life
Master’s Ranch is a new home for adolescent boys who need proper direction to turn their lives around. The therapeutic program focuses on the value of work, demonstrated through animal husbandry, regular chores in the dorms and kitchen, and an outstanding vocational program. Boys live in a structured environment, learning respect for authority and personal responsibility. We treat education as a privilege, and we teach boys to look at it the same way.
We start with physical exercise with the goal of bringing boys up to a basic level of fitness. They develop muscle, their self-respect improves, and they experience a positive achievement as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their achievements bolster confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys come to terms with the consequences of their past choices. Their thinking clears and their destructive behavior disappears, replaced with character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.

Teens at Master’s Ranch Christian Boarding School feel at home here. We operate like a family, caring for these boys unconditionally and walking through the days next to them, coaching and leading them. We offer pastoral counseling and life-on-life mentorship and spiritual guidance.
Boys participate in regular devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and discover a relationship with Jesus. Many of our boys consider the directors at Master’s Ranch, as their second family and a large number come back to work on the ranch or to visit. We enjoy ourselves on the ranch, as well. Residents spend a great deal of their free time camping, playing sports, and generally learning how to have healthy fun again.
