Physical Training

We start right away with physical exercise with the goal of bringing boys up to a basic level of fitness. Mental Training

The flexible curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain subjects to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are ready for those who succeed academically and desire to get ahead.

Our residential academic program operates year-round, to keep students involved and to give them the opportunity to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During normal summer break we run a half-day academic regimen to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.

Vocational Training

Boys who have improved their actions and have become trustworthy are given opportunities for vocational experience in select businesses nearby. It allows them to exercise their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dollar they earn is put into an account that they take home with them when they leave.  The ranch itself also offers some vocational opportunities for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys are trained marketable skills and self-confidence from these endeavors.

Spiritual Training

Boys have access to daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have the chance to ask questions about God and discover a relationship with Jesus.  We give biblical counseling and person-to-person mentoring and spiritual direction.
