We provide counseling throughout the week, both one-on-one and also group counseling sessions. Throughout each boy’s stay, we engage them constantly as a friend they can talk to freely, making therapy non-threatening and ongoing in a more natural environment. We maintain a watchful eye, especially in the early days, but we do so while surrounding them with loving care and inspiring them toward a personal relationship with God. We operate like a family, loving these boys no matter what and walking through the days beside them, coaching and training them.

We value education as a privilege, and we teach boys to think about it in the same way.
Boys spend a lot of their weekends and free time fishing, playing sports, and just learning how to enjoy healthy fun again.
Physical Training
We begin with physical training to bring boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They gain strength, they feel good about themselves, and they experience something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their achievements build confidence so that boys are built up.
Mental Training
Master’s Ranch Christian Academy goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps boys to mentally come to terms with the results of bad choices. Their thinking clears and their destructive behavior turns into character and integrity. Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.
Academic Training
We have certified teachers on staff who offer instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accommodate both ends of the academic spectrum. The self-paced curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain subjects to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are available for those who succeed academically and wish to get ahead.
Our residential academic program operates year-round, to keep students involved and to give them the chance to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During normal summer break we run a shortened academic schedule to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.
Vocational Training
Boys who have improved their actions and have become trustworthy are given opportunities for vocational experience in the local economy. It allows them to exercise their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dime they earn is put into an account that they take home with them when they leave. The ranch itself also offers some vocational opportunities for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys gain marketable skills and a real sense of accomplishment from these opportunities.
Spiritual Training
Boys participate in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and choose a relationship with Jesus. We give biblical counseling and person-to-person mentoring and spiritual direction.
