If your teen has started down a road to disaster, he could use someone to confide in who will hear him and speak truth to him without judgment. We provide therapy throughout the week, both individual and also in a group setting. Throughout each boy’s stay, we engage them constantly as someone they can talk to freely, making therapy non-threatening and ongoing in a more natural environment. We maintain a watchful eye, especially in the early days, but we do so while surrounding them with loving care and inspiring them toward a personal relationship with God. We run like a family, loving these boys no matter what and going through the days alongside them, coaching and teaching them.

Physical Training

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe start right away with physical training with the goal of bringing boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They gain muscle, their self-respect improves, and they experience a positive achievement as they begin to see progress in their fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in academics, their achievements build confidence so that boys are built up.

Mental Training

MRCA goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps boys to mentally come to terms with the ramifications of bad behaviors. Their thinking straightens out and their inappropriate behavior turns into character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.

Academic Training

ranch for reforming boysWe have qualified teachers on our personnel who provide instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accommodate both ends of the academic spectrum. The flexible curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain courses to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are ready for those who excel academically and desire to get ahead.

Our boarding academy operates year-round, to keep students involved and to give them the opportunity to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During the summers we run a half-day academic regimen to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.

Vocational Training

boys ranch and homeAfter the boys are at the ranch for a time, they have a chance for work experience in the local economy. It allows them to try out their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dollar they earn is put into a fund that they take home with them when they leave.  The ranch itself also offers some industries for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys are trained marketable skills and a real sense of accomplishment from these opportunities.

Spiritual Training

Residents have access to regular devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and choose a relationship with Jesus.  We provide biblical counseling and ongoing mentorship and spiritual guidance.
