If your teen has been getting into trouble, he needs someone to confide in who will listen to him and guide him without judgment. We provide counseling throughout the week, both one-on-one and also in a group setting. Throughout each boy’s stay, we engage them constantly as someone they can talk to freely, making therapy non-threatening and ongoing in a more natural environment. We maintain a watchful eye, especially in the early days, but we do so while giving them loving care and inspiring them toward a personal relationship with God. We work like a family, caring for these boys through their struggles and walking through the days beside them, coaching and training them.

We treat education as a privilege, and we teach boys to view it in the same way.
Residents spend a lot of their free time hunting, playing sports, and generally learning how to enjoy good clean fun again.
We begin with physical exercise to bring boys up to a basic level of fitness. They develop strength, they have a reason to feel good about themselves, and they experience something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their achievements develop confidence so that boys are built up.
MRCA goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps boys to mentally comprehend the results of bad behaviors. Their thinking straightens out and their inappropriate behavior is replaced with character and integrity. Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.
We have certified teachers on our personnel who provide instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accommodate both ends of the academic spectrum. The self-paced curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain subjects to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are available for those who succeed academically and desire to get ahead.
Our boarding school operates year-round, to keep students involved and to give them the opportunity to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. All summer we run a shortened academic regimen to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.
After the boys are at the ranch for a time, they have a chance for vocational experience in the local economy. It allows them to exercise their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. The wage they earn is put into a fund that they take home with them when they leave. The ranch itself also provides some industries for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys are trained marketable skills and self-confidence from these opportunities.
Residents have access to daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and choose a relationship with Jesus. We provide biblical counseling and life-on-life mentoring and spiritual guidance.
