Physical Training

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe start right away with physical exercise with the goal of bringing boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They build strength, their self-respect improves, and they experience something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in their education, their accomplishments bolster confidence so that boys are built up.

Mental Training

Master’s Ranch Christian Academy goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps young men to mentally comprehend the consequences of bad behaviors. Their thinking straightens out and their inappropriate behavior disappears, replaced with character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.

Academic Training

ranch for reforming boysWe have certified teachers on our personnel who provide instruction and one-on-one tutoring assistance to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accommodate both ends of the academic spectrum. The flexible curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain courses to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are ready for those who succeed academically and wish to get ahead.

Our boarding school operates year-round, to keep students involved and to give them the opportunity to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During normal summer break we run a half-day academic schedule to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.

Vocational Training

It allows them to try out their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dime they earn is put into an account that they take home with them when they leave.  The ranch itself also offers some vocational opportunities for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys gain marketable skills and a real sense of accomplishment from these opportunities.

Spiritual Training

Teens have access to daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about God and discover a relationship with Jesus.  We offer biblical counseling and ongoing mentorship and spiritual guidance.
