Physical Training

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe start right away with physical exercise to bring boys up to a standard level of fitness. They develop muscle, their self-respect improves, and they experience something positive as they begin to see progress in their fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in their education, their positive experiences develop confidence so that boys are built up.

Mental Training

Master’s Ranch Christian Academy goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps young men to mentally realize the ramifications of bad choices. Their thinking clears and their destructive behavior is replaced with character and integrity. Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.

Academic Training

ranch for reforming boysWe have excellent teachers on staff who offer instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accommodate both ends of the academic spectrum. The flexible curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain subjects to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are ready for those who excel academically and wish to get ahead.

Our residential academic program operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the chance to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. All summer we run a half-day academic schedule to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.

Vocational Training

It allows them to exercise their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dime they earn is put into a fund that they take home with them when they go home.  The ranch itself also provides some industries for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys are trained marketable skills and a real sense of accomplishment from these endeavors.

Spiritual Training

Teens participate in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and choose a relationship with Jesus.  We provide pastoral counseling and ongoing mentorship and spiritual direction.
