If your could use someone trustworthy who will listen to him and guide him without judgment, we are here to help. We provide therapy throughout the week, both one-on-one and also in a group setting.

Throughout each boy’s stay, we engage them constantly as someone they can talk to freely, making our counsel non-threatening and ongoing and in a more natural environment. We maintain a watchful eye, especially in the early days, but we do so while surrounding them with loving care and encouraging them toward a personal relationship with God. We run like a family, loving these boys unconditionally and walking through the days beside them, coaching and training them.

DSCN0609Founded to Provide Boys from Colorado a New Start in Life

Master’s Ranch is a home away from home for teenage boys from other states like Colorado, who need proper direction to make a new start for themselves. Parents enroll their boys, age 12-17, to Master’s Ranch after learning that they’ve begun to get in trouble and headed on a downward spiral which cannot be stopped by counseling alone.

Boys at Master’s Ranch Christian Academy spend a great deal of their weekends and free time hunting, playing sports, and generally learning how to have healthy fun again. They are brought to our boarding school to live in a disciplined environment, learning respect for authority and personal responsibility through a renewed focus on faith, caring for themselves and their future, and through caring for the animals on our ranch. We treat education as a privilege, and we teach boys to think about it in the same way.

Adventure and Physical Outlets are Important in our Boarding School for Boys

We start right away with physical exercise to bring boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They gain muscle, they feel good about themselves, and they gain something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in academics, their accomplishments bolster confidence so that boys are built up.

Academic Training for Boys from Colorado

We have qualified teachers on our personnel who offer instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we focus on both ends of the academic spectrum. The self-paced curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain subjects to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are scheduled for those who excel academically and wish to get ahead.

Our residential academic program operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the chance to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. All summer we run a half-day academic regimen to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.

Helping Boys Begin Thinking About Appropriate Boundaries

Master’s Ranch Christian Academy goes beyond traditional boarding schools in that it helps boys to mentally realize the consequences of bad choices. Their thinking clears and their inappropriate behavior turns into character and integrity. At Master’s Ranch, we give boys every opportunity to be successful.

After the boys are at the ranch for a time, they have a chance for vocational experience in select businesses nearby. It allows them to try out their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. The wage they earn is put into an account that they take home with them when they go home. The ranch itself also offers some industries for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys are trained marketable skills and a real sense of accomplishment from these opportunities.

A Place Where Spiritual Training Leads to Improved Behaviors in Boys

Boys take part in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and choose a relationship with Jesus. We offer biblical counseling and ongoing mentorship and spiritual direction.

Help finding boarding schools  for boys in Colorado:

Colorado is a U.S. state that encompasses most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains. Colorado is part of the Western United States and the Mountain States. Colorado is the 8th most extensive and the 22nd most populous of the 50 United States.
The state was named for the Colorado River, which early Spanish explorers named the Ro Colorado for the red colored (Lang-es) silt the river carried from the mountains. On August 1, 1876, U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant signed a proclamation admitting Colorado as the 38th state. Colorado is nicknamed the “Centennial State” because it was admitted to the Union in 1876, the centennial year of the United States Declaration of Independence.
Colorado is bordered by the northwest state of Wyoming to the north, the midwest states of Nebraska and Kansas to the northeast and east, on the south by New Mexico and a small portion of the southern state of Oklahoma, and on the west by Utah. The four states of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah meet at one common point known as the Four Corners, which is known as the heart of the American Southwest. Colorado is one of only three U.S. states with no natural borders, the others being neighboring Wyoming and Utah. Colorado is noted for its vivid landscape of mountains, forests, high plains, mesas, canyons, plateaus, rivers, and desert lands.
Denver is the capital and the most populous city of Colorado. Residents of the state are properly known as “Coloradans”, although the archaic term “Coloradoan” is still used.Writers Style Guide, Colorado State University. Retrieved January 19, 2009.]Cite news]
