Physical Training

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe start right away with physical training to bring boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They develop strength, their self-esteem improves, and they gain something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in academics, their achievements bolster confidence so that boys are built up.

Mental Training

Master’s Ranch Christian Academy goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps young men to mentally comprehend the consequences of bad actions. Their thinking straightens out and their inappropriate behavior turns into character and integrity. At Master’s Ranch, we give boys every opportunity to be successful.

Academic Training

ranch for reforming boysWe have excellent teachers on our personnel who provide instruction and one-on-one tutoring assistance to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we focus on both ends of the academic spectrum. The self-paced curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain subjects to master them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are scheduled for those who succeed academically and desire to get ahead.

Our boarding academy operates year-round, to keep students involved and to give them the chance to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. All summer we run a shortened academic schedule to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.

Vocational Training

boys ranch and homeAfter the boys are at the ranch for a time, they have a chance for work experience in the local economy. It allows them to try out their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. The wage they earn is put into a fund that they take home with them when they leave.  The ranch itself also provides some vocational opportunities for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys gain marketable skills and self-confidence from these endeavors.

Spiritual Training

Teens participate in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have the chance to ask questions about God and choose a relationship with Jesus.  We provide biblical counseling and person-to-person mentoring and spiritual direction.
