If your son has started down a road to disaster, he needs someone trustworthy who will hear him and speak truth to him without judgment. We provide therapy throughout the week, both individual and also in a group setting. Throughout each boy’s stay, we engage them constantly as someone they can talk to freely, making therapy non-threatening and ongoing in a more natural environment. We maintain a watchful eye, especially in the early days, but we do so while giving them loving care and inspiring them toward a personal relationship with God. We operate like a family, caring for these boys unconditionally and going through the days beside them, coaching and training them.

Physical Training

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe start right away with physical exercise with the goal of bringing boys up to a standard level of fitness. They build strength, they feel good about themselves, and they gain something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their accomplishments develop confidence so that boys are built up.

Mental Training

Master’s Ranch Christian Academy goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps young men to mentally understand the results of bad choices. Their thinking clears and their inappropriate behavior turns into character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.

Academic Training

ranch for reforming boysWe have certified teachers on our personnel who provide instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accommodate both ends of the academic spectrum. The flexible curriculum allows students who may be struggling with certain courses to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are available for those who excel academically and desire to get ahead.

Our boarding academy operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the chance to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During the summers we run a shortened academic regimen to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.

Vocational Training

boys ranch and homeBoys who have improved their actions and have become trustworthy are given opportunities for vocational experience in the local economy. It allows them to try out their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. The wage they earn is put into a fund that they withdraw when they go home.  The ranch itself also offers some industries for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys are trained marketable skills and self-confidence from these opportunities.

Spiritual Training

Boys participate in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have the chance to ask questions about life and experience a relationship with Jesus.  We offer biblical counseling and life-on-life mentoring and spiritual guidance.
