If your teen has started down a road to disaster, he could use someone trustworthy who will hear him and speak truth to him without judgment. We provide therapy throughout the week, both one-on-one and also in a group setting. Throughout each boy’s stay, we engage them constantly as someone they can talk to freely, making therapy non-threatening and ongoing in a more natural environment. We maintain a watchful eye, especially in the early days, but we do so while surrounding them with loving care and encouraging them toward a personal relationship with God. We run like a family, loving these boys unconditionally and going through the days next to them, coaching and training them.

Boys spend a lot of their weekends and free time hunting, playing sports, and generally learning how to enjoy wholesome fun again.

Physical Training

Master's Ranch Christian AcademyWe begin with physical exercise to bring boys up to a standard level of fitness. They develop strength, their self-esteem improves, and they experience something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their achievements develop confidence so that boys are built up.

Mental Training

MRCA goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps boys to mentally come to terms with the ramifications of bad behaviors. Their thinking clears and their inappropriate behavior turns into character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.

Academic Training

ranch for reforming boysWe have excellent teachers on staff who provide instruction and one-on-one tutoring assistance to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accommodate both ends of the academic spectrum. The self-paced curriculum allows students who may be struggling with certain subjects to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and college-prep programs are available for those who succeed academically and wish to get ahead.

Our residential academic program operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the opportunity to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During the summers we run a partial academic schedule to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.

Vocational Training

It allows them to exercise their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dime they earn is put into a fund that they take home with them when they go home.  The ranch itself also offers some industries for the young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys are trained marketable skills and a real sense of accomplishment from these endeavors.

Spiritual Training

Boys participate in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have the chance to ask questions about God and discover a relationship with Jesus.  We give group and individual counseling and life-on-life mentoring and spiritual guidance.
