Families in Monett, Missouri Come to Master’s Ranch for Their Sons Who Need a New Path in Life
Master’s Ranch is a new home for teenage boys who need proper direction to change the course of their lives. The program makes much of the value of work, taught through involvement with the ranch, daily chores in the dorms and kitchen, and a strong vocational program. Boys live in a structured environment, learning obedience and personal responsibility. We treat education as a privilege, and we teach boys to think about it the same way.
We start with physical training to bring boys up to a basic level of fitness. They develop strength, they feel good about themselves, and they experience a positive achievement as they begin to see progress in their fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in their education, their positive experiences develop confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys come to terms with the ramifications of their past behaviors. Their thinking clears and their destructive behavior is replaced with character and integrity.Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.
Our Residents Have a Home-Like Environment at Master’s Ranch
Teenagers at Master’s Ranch Christian Boarding School feel at home here. We work like a family, loving these boys unconditionally and going through the days right with them, coaching and leading them. We give group and individual counseling and ongoing mentorship and spiritual direction.
Boys participate in regular devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about God and experience a relationship with Jesus. Many of our boys consider the Bosleys, the directors at Master’s Ranch, as their second parents and many come back to help or to spend time with us. We enjoy ourselves on the ranch, as well. Students spend a great deal of their weekends and free time hunting, playing sports, and generally learning how to have wholesome fun again.
