Families in Lexington, Nebraska Select Master’s Ranch for Their Teens Who Need a New Direction in Life
Master’s Ranch is a new home for teenage boys who need proper direction to turn their lives around. The therapeutic program emphasizes the value of work, which is taught through agricultural work, daily chores in the kitchen and dorms, and a strong vocational program. Boys live in a disciplined environment, learning obedience and personal responsibility. We treat education as a privilege, and we teach boys to think about it the same way.
We start with physical exercise to bring boys up to a standard level of fitness. They build strength, they have a reason to feel good about about themselves, and they gain a positive achievement as they begin to meet fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in their education, their achievements develop confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys realize the results of their past behaviors. Their thinking clears and their inappropriate behavior disappears, replaced with character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.
Our Residents Have a Home-Like Environment at Master’s Ranch
Teens at Master’s Ranch Christian Boarding School feel at home here. We work like a family, caring for these boys through their struggles and walking through the days beside them, coaching and leading them. We offer biblical counseling and ongoing mentoring and spiritual guidance.
Students have access to daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about God and discover a relationship with Jesus. Many of our boys think of the Bosleys, the directors at Master’s Ranch, as their second parents and a large number come back to help or to visit. We have a lot of fun on the ranch, as well. Students spend a lot of their free time outdoors, playing sports, and generally learning how to enjoy healthy fun again.
