Families in Kenmore, Washington Select Master’s Ranch for Their Boys Who Need a New Path in Life
Master’s Ranch is a new home for boys who need proper direction to change the course of their lives. The boarding school with counseling emphasizes the value of work, which is taught through involvement with the ranch, regular chores in the dorms and kitchen, and an outstanding vocational program. Boys live in a structured environment, learning obedience and personal responsibility. We view education as a privilege, and we teach boys to look at it the same way.
We begin with physical training with the goal of bringing boys up to a basic level of fitness. They gain strength, their self-respect improves, and they experience a positive achievement as they begin to see progress in their fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their positive experiences build confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys understand the consequences of their past behaviors. Their thinking straightens out and their destructive behavior is replaced with character and integrity.Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.

Teens take part in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and discover a relationship with Jesus. Many of our boys think of the Bosleys, the directors at Master’s Ranch, as their second parents and many come back to work on the ranch or to visit. We have a lot of fun on the ranch, too. Boys spend a great deal of time camping, playing sports, and just learning how to enjoy healthy fun again.
