Families in Collinsville, Oklahoma Come to Master’s Ranch for Their Teens Who Need a New Start in Life
Master’s Ranch is a new home for teenage boys who need proper direction to change the course of their lives. The boarding school makes much of the value of work, which is taught through ranch chores, daily chores in the kitchen and dorms, and an extensive vocational program. Boys live in a structured environment, learning respect for authority and personal responsibility. We value education as a privilege, and we teach boys to think about it the same way.
We start with physical exercise with the goal of bringing boys up to a basic level of fitness. They gain strength, they have a reason to feel good about about themselves, and they gain something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their achievements build confidence so that boys are built up. Meanwhile, we help boys come to terms with the consequences of their past choices. Their thinking clears and their inappropriate behavior is replaced with character and integrity.Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.
Teens Live in a Family-Like Environment at Master’s Ranch
Teens at Master’s Ranch Christian Boarding School feel at home here. We are set up like a family, caring for these boys no matter what and walking through the days next to them, coaching and teaching them. We provide pastoral counseling and ongoing mentorship and spiritual guidance.
Students take part in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have the chance to ask questions about God and choose a relationship with Jesus. Many of our boys think of the Bosleys, the directors at Master’s Ranch, as their second family and many come back to work on the ranch or to spend time with us. We have a lot of fun on the ranch, as well. Residents spend a lot of their weekends and free time camping, playing sports, and just learning how to enjoy wholesome fun again.
