We operate like a family, loving these boys unconditionally and going through the days beside them, coaching and instructing them.

Master’s Ranch is a new home for adolescent boys from places like Yukon, Oklahoma, who need proper direction to make a new start for themselves. Parents bring their boys, age 12-17, to Master’s Ranch after seeing them begin a downward spiral which cannot be stopped by counseling alone.
Boys from Yukon, Oklahoma come to our boarding school to live in a structured environment, learning obedience and personal responsibility through a renewed focus on faith, caring for themselves and their future, and through caring for the animals on our ranch. We view education as a privilege, and we teach boys to look at it in the same way.
Students spend a great deal of time hunting, playing sports, and just learning how to have good clean fun again.
We begin with physical training with the goal of bringing boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They develop muscle, their self-respect improves, and they experience a positive achievement as they begin to meet fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in their education, their achievements build confidence so that boys are built up.
MRCA goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps boys to mentally understand the results of bad actions. Their thinking straightens out and their destructive behavior turns into character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.
We have excellent teachers on staff who offer instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accommodate both ends of the academic spectrum. The flexible curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain subjects to master them and catch up. Advanced coursework and a college-prep programs are scheduled for those who succeed academically and desire to get ahead.
Our residential academic program operates year-round, to keep students involved and to give them the opportunity to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. All summer we run a half-day academic regimen to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.
After the boys are at the ranch for a time, they have opportunities for vocational experience in select businesses nearby. It allows them to exercise their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dollar they earn is put into an account that they take home with them when they go home. The ranch itself also offers some industries for the boys young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys are trained marketable skills and a real sense of accomplishment from these endeavors.
Students have access to regular devotions and weekly church services, so they have the chance to ask questions about God and experience a relationship with Jesus. We offer group and individual counseling and life-on-life mentoring and spiritual guidance.
