Master’s Ranch is a second home for teenage boys from places like Sheboygan, Wisconsin, who need proper direction to make a new start for themselves. Parents bring their young men, age 12-17, to Master’s Ranch after seeing them begin a downward spiral which cannot be stopped by counseling alone.
Boys from Sheboygan, Wisconsin come to our boarding school to live in a structured environment, learning obedience and personal responsibility through a renewed focus on faith, caring for themselves and their future, and through caring for the animals on our ranch. We view education as a privilege, and we teach boys to view it in the same way.

We start right away with physical exercise with the goal of bringing boys up to a standard level of fitness. They gain strength, their self-esteem improves, and they experience a positive achievement as they begin to meet fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in their education, their positive experiences develop confidence so that boys are built up.
MRCA goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps young men to mentally realize the results of bad choices. Their thinking clears and their inappropriate behavior is replaced with character and integrity. Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.
We have certified teachers on staff who provide instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accomplish both ends of the academic spectrum. The self-paced curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain subjects to master them and catch up. Advanced coursework and a college-prep programs are scheduled for those who succeed academically and desire to get ahead.
Our boarding school operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the chance to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During normal summer break we run a partial academic schedule to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.
Boys who have improved their actions and have become trustworthy are given a chance for vocational experience in select businesses nearby. It allows them to exercise their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. The wage they earn is put into a fund that they take home with them when they go home. The ranch itself also offers some vocational opportunities for the boys young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys gain marketable skills and a real sense of accomplishment from these opportunities.
Residents participate in daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about God and discover a relationship with Jesus. We provide biblical counseling and person-to-person mentoring and spiritual direction.
