We start with physical exercise with the goal of bringing boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They develop muscle, they feel good about themselves, and they experience a positive achievement as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in their education, their achievements bolster confidence so that boys are built up.

Advanced coursework and a college-prep programs are scheduled for those who excel academically and wish to get ahead.
Our boarding academy operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the chance to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During normal summer break we run a half-day academic schedule to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.
After the boys are at the ranch for a time, they have a chance for work experience in the local economy. It allows them to try out their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dime they earn is put into an account that they withdraw when they leave. The ranch itself also offers some industries for the boys young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys are trained marketable skills and a self-confidence from these endeavors.
Boys have access to daily devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and experience a relationship with Jesus. We offer group and individual counseling and person-to-person mentorship and spiritual direction.
