Students spend a lot of their weekends and free time fishing, playing sports, and just learning how to enjoy wholesome fun again.
We begin with physical training with the goal of bringing boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They gain strength, they have a reason to feel good about themselves, and they gain something positive as they begin to meet fitness goals. Those achievements carry over into other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their accomplishments develop confidence so that boys are built up.

Advanced coursework and a college-prep programs are scheduled for those who succeed academically and wish to get ahead.
Our residential academic program operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the opportunity to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During the summers we run a half-day academic schedule to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.
Boys who have improved their actions and have become trustworthy are given a chance for work experience in select businesses nearby. It allows them to exercise their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dime they earn is put into a fund that they take home with them when they go home. The ranch itself also provides some industries for the boys young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys gain marketable skills and a self-confidence from these endeavors.
Teens participate in regular devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and choose a relationship with Jesus. We give biblical counseling and life-on-life mentoring and spiritual direction.
