We run like a family, loving these boys through their struggles and going through the days alongside them, coaching and teaching them.

We start right away with physical exercise to bring boys up to a minimum level of fitness. They build muscle, they have a reason to feel good about themselves, and they experience a positive achievement as they begin to meet fitness goals. The same concepts also work well in other areas. In work projects and vocational skills and even in academics, their positive experiences develop confidence so that boys are built up.
MRCA goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps young men to mentally realize the results of bad choices. Their thinking clears and their inappropriate behavior disappears, replaced with character and integrity. Master’s Ranch gives boys a reason to succeed.
We have qualified teachers on staff who offer instruction and one-on-one tutoring attention to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we accomplish both ends of the academic spectrum. The flexible curriculum allows students who may be having difficulty with certain courses to accomplish them and catch up. Advanced coursework and a college-prep programs are scheduled for those who excel academically and desire to get ahead.
Our boarding academy operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the chance to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During the summers we run a partial academic schedule to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.
Boys who have improved their actions and have become trustworthy are given a chance for work experience in select businesses nearby. It allows them to exercise their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. The wage they earn is put into an account that they take home with them when they go home. The ranch itself also provides some vocational opportunities for the boys young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys gain marketable skills and a real sense of accomplishment from these endeavors.
Boys have access to regular devotions and weekly church services, so they have the chance to ask questions about God and choose a relationship with Jesus. We provide pastoral counseling and ongoing mentorship and spiritual direction.
