In work projects and vocational skills and even in school, their achievements develop confidence so that boys are built up.
MRCA goes beyond trqditional boarding schools in that it helps boys to mentally realize the results of bad actions. Their thinking straightens out and their destructive behavior is replaced with character and integrity. Teens at Master’s Ranch have a reason to succeed.
We have certified teachers on staff who offer instruction and one-on-one tutoring assistance to the students. At Master’s Ranch, we focus on both ends of the academic spectrum. The self-paced curriculum allows students who may be struggling with certain courses to master them and catch up. Advanced coursework and a college-prep programs are available for those who succeed academically and desire to get ahead.
Our residential academic program operates year-round, to keep students engaged and to give them the chance to catch up or retake courses and improve their grade point average. During the summers we run a half-day academic regimen to allow time for projects, sports and recreation.
Boys who have improved their actions and have become trustworthy are given opportunities for vocational experience in select businesses nearby. It allows them to try out their new coping skills and to earn money to help them once they leave the ranch. Every dime they earn is put into a fund that they withdraw when they leave. The ranch itself also offers some industries for the boys young men to learn from, including handling the cattle, construction, pedigree dog breeding, and farming. The boys gain marketable skills and a self-confidence from these opportunities.
Residents take part in regular devotions and weekly church services, so they have opportunities to ask questions about life and choose a relationship with Jesus. We give group and individual counseling and person-to-person mentorship and spiritual guidance.

Harrison is a city in Boone County, Arkansas, United States. It is the county seat. According to 2007 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city was 13,108. Boone County was organized in 1869, during reconstruction after the civil war. Harrison was platted and made the county seat. It is named after L.
